Advantages: Good use of internal space
Disadvantages: Havent found any yet!
The Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 Club Since its entry into the very competitive MPV market the Zafira has grown in stature and reputation. The brief was simple - spacious interior within a compact exterior. I have been the proud owner of one of these mid range people carriers for just over a month and it has been a revelation. This car performs very well - I have had up to five on board and the journey was very comfortable. When you first drive the Zafira you notice the raised driving position, giving a commanding views through the acres of glass. The multiple seating arrangements are fantastic and will satisfy even the most restless of passengers. The trim level is very high - even the base model, known as the Club. Goodies included are air conditioning, electric windows, heated and electric mirrors, rear seat passenger heating and fine stereo system. The raising seating allows for good passenger views and a good game for the children is 'Watch the Thermometer', which gives the outside temperature. The performance of the Zafira is surprising. The 1.6 engine spins freely and is very responsive through the close ratio gearbox. Fuel economy is good with infrequent visits to the pumps. Luggage space is excellent, with a huge, but lightweight tailgate allow good-sized loads in the rear of the car. The boot space can be customised to suit most needs. I would recommend a test drive of this mid range MPV if you are looking for a change and then take the plunge - and enjoy the endless hours of fun with the seating system.

sidneygee - 10/02/02 Hi. Any chance of up-dating this opinion ? I am seriously considering buying a 1.6 or 1.8 Club. broker4cars.co.uk are offering them at £10626/£11066 from an East Midlnads dealer. With my 2556 GM points and an Esapce worth £4,500 or so, that makes it some bargain ! |
