Advantages: Fast, safe, incredibly economic on fuel, comfortable, reliable, spacious, blue dash lights!

Disadvantages: Sometimes too long for parallel parking spaces, masculine looks (only disadvantage if female!)

Having bought one second hand (03) model (2ltr tdi) over two years ago I have to say I adore this car. I am constantly astounded at how whilst it has all the power you need in normal driving as well as going like a bat out of hell, it is so economic. In fact it makes me laugh when I hear adverts for newer cars boasting about an average mpg of 42. I'd be seriously hammering the Bora to get as low an mpg as that and I live in one of the hilliest counties in the country! You can fit so much in it, it's comfortable to drive (one of the few cars that doesn't hurt my back) and I trust it to be reliable and safe. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one and the only disadvantages are that it's just that smidge too long for a reasonable proportion of parking spaces and it's a touch masculine (people assume it's my boyfriend's car!) For me those disadvantages are not even worth thinking about considering all the advantages. Oh and I love the blue dash lights!
