Having bought one second hand (03) model (2ltr tdi) over two years ago I have to say I adore this car. I am constantly astounded at how whilst it has all the power you need in normal driving as well as going like a bat out of hell, it is so economic. The Bora may be considered by some people to be a very boring car. I do not agree with this. It may not look very good, but is certainly an excellent motor, with credentials of both the Golf and Passat. At a shade under 2G less than the Passat it is a car for someone who can't quite afford the Passat, but needs a Golf with more space ... Read the complete review

The VW Bora 1.9TDI (110BHP) Sport is an excellent car. I have owned the above model for nearly a year and I am still in love with it. This is probably the most underrated car that VW currently make. It's looked upon as a Golf with a boot but that's unfair because it's streets ahead of the Golf.
