Advantages: what a ride
Disadvantages: built by child labour
there's only one worth talking about - the VR6. 190 HP from a 2.9l motor gave it fairly hairy performance. For the beans you'd be hard pushed to beat it in a straight line, only the advent of the scooby phenomanon has given it real competition. However the poor old scooby was never blessed with looks, and a well shod corrado (without any plastic muck nailed on) is quite an elegant wee thing. The handling is simply superb. The only penalty of the bigger motor is a slightly heavy nose, but there are few with a better turn in than this thing. Steering is spot on, damping is back breaking, body roll is something you couldn't even manage on the back seat. It'll shimmy around bends tidier than samantha mumba's arse. I've never driven anything that could get close (except a scooby which bears more resembalance to your mothers arse). Would you buy one - no chance... The only thing they didn't do was stick the damn things together. The VR6 is a mighty beast but they never really sorted it out and things go pop all the time. The bosy and interior belong ot days of old and collecting the bits that fell off is time consuming. All in all its a bit like beer goggling...you go home with Schiffer and wake up with...
