Disadvantages: Sluggish, High depreciation

Bought new, because of VW's reputation, it turned out to be the worst car I've ever had. The accommodation was average, the performance was sluggish, although it managed to average 39mpg. The spec. was poor, it was so low the front spoiler often grounded, servicing costs were astronomical - even the cost of spares for d-i-y was unbelievable eg. £50 for a set of front pads. And when I came to sell I got a ridiculously low p/x for it, although if you bought it you should have benefited from that !
