Advantages: Good Acceleration, Lots of boot space, Quite cheap

Disadvantages: Not the biggest of back seats, Not loaded with luxury

I bought a Polo Coupe about a year ago with 36000 miles on the clock. It was my first car, and I think I would be hard pushed to find a car with similar performance for the money I paid. It may only be 1.024L, but it is very quick off the mark. The back seat is not particularly roomy, but I have had six people in it at once for a fifteen-minute trip; There weren’t too many complaints either.
There is a radio in there that provides invaluable entertainment on those long trips., however, the car is not packed with features like electric windows, but what do you expect for just under £2500? It is a compact little car that is easily parked in spaces that other small cars would have trouble with.
It only has four gears, which is a bit of a problem as far as general petrol consumption and top speed, but I use it to too and fro between Oxford and Cardiff a lot, and the costs aren't too high. Being under one 1.1 or so, it qualifies for the lower tax rate. Even better.
All in all, it is a very good car that I would recommend to anyone looking for a nippy first car.
