Polo classic shows some problems with sparking plug cables, which gived electric passage to the ground at aprox. 45000 km. I know that VW in Portugal knows about that but dont say it to their clients.
Another drawback... exhaust pipe (near the motor...we call it "colector") . that colector I substituted three times because of fissures creating problems with exhausting smokes and compression. Another thing: driving is not very safe, especialy when you have to bend at more than 60 km/h: the back parte of the car slides some how
