I love the old golf polo. It was my second car, priced at a reasonable £4000 back in 1998. Its a small car, but you can fit alot into it, it has a good passenger space, and the boot can hold alot of luggage. The interior on my car was a dark black fabric, and i have to say looked brilliant. The car rarely looked dirty and at night had a great light up dials inside, that really set it off. The polo has a good reputation for being safe, and i have to say this proved itself, when a car rammed into my drivers door at 60miles an hour. The side impact bars saved my life.

I also didnt have any other problems with it, it always started, had a good fuel economy, the tyres were relatively good value and the parts were available in most garages.

I loved my polo, they came in alot of blue colours, and mine was the metallic light blue which always looked great, and the paintwork always seemed to maintain its deep colour throughout its lifetime.

The polos came in 3 or 5 door. Mine was the 5 door, and it was really easy to get in and out of. A friend of mine had the 3 door, and i have to say it was a little awkward to get into the back, so not advisable if you are going to use the back seats alot.

Id definetely recommend the polo volkswagen, it was a great car, definetely worth its weight in gold.
