Brilliant 1st car well recomended (VW Polo (1994-99))

Advantages: Feels very Safe, Quality built!!

Disadvantages: Passenger window seems to break after a while!

I brought my 1st VW polo about 3 years ago P reg, I had an accident in it about 2 years ago and unfortunately wrote it off, someone pulled out infront of me at about 50 mph and I crashed into the back of them, the only reason the car was a right off was because they had a tow bar and managed to break the radiator and air con, on the plus side I was absolutely fine the seat belt did its job, the car didnt crumble at all the bonnet bent but the main thing was that if you are carrying passengers i would feel extremly safe inside a polo they are built very well and have a very strong chassi.
I loved my 1st polo so much that i brought another one R reg this time with 16v engine this polo is a little bit more nippy and looks awesome the only real problems that i have had with this car and my 1st one neither passenger windows work! So make sure you check the passenger window opens when buying one! Apart from that i havent really had any problems that bad yet nothing you wouldnt expect from a 12 year old car!
I would definately but a VW again probally newer model next time though but an excellent 1st car!!
