Advantages: Cheap, £200, moves, insureance low

Disadvantages: smells, tape player isn't much cop, not many more...

I have just bought an 1982 MK2 poloC. first registered in february, the first month this model was on sale. From looking at the huge amounts of service record, old MOT's and bills, I think the little car has done over 250,000 miles! although it did have a new engine fitted in 1989, 160,000 miles ago. the general condition of the car is good for it's age, little rust in normal places and a dent in front wing. The engine is ok, my car is a 11 year old citroen BX diesel, which is very slow, so the polo seems a little more lively.
My girlfriend is using the car to learn to drive in and she lokes it, says it's easyer to drive that the 2002 corsa her instructure uses. Her insurance is around £400 a year, which isn't too bad for a learner in our area, it would have been £900 for her to drive my tank. The car it's self cost us £200 pounds, thats only a couple of moths payments on a new 106 or saxo, hopefully it will go on for a bit more that a few months but either way it wont owe us much.
