VW Beetle in general:
... VW Beetle is easily my most beloved possession!! It really is the perfect fashion car, and definitely a bit girly, what with the flower vase and blue lighting. It has beautiful curves and is easily recognisable in the cark park - just look for the little bubble! I love the beetle wave ! Pretty much all beetle drivers will recognise others with a wave as you re driving along - very cute I think and not something... Read the full review: VW New Beetle by speedy_k29 |

VW Golf MK5 ... ve owned my Volkswagen, Golf, Mark 5, 1.9 se tdi for 2 years now. I am considering purchasing the new mark 6 but it would be so difficult to part with my car. Its only a 2006 but my god do I love it. I ve simply added the GTI 18" alloys, cheap option to add major sex appeal. None of this matters however, the important points are: Reliability, comfort, speed, handling, and most importantly fuel economy! I bought the car as standard and the few problems I found were: That the accelerator had this 1 second lag when putting my foot down. The revs limited at 4,500 when there s more to give. I did some research on the internet and found that re-mapping diesil engines ... Read the full review: Golf Mark 5 (1.9 Se Tdi) with added Re-map by milesgardner |

VW Polo (1994-99) ... brought our 1997 1.4 petrol polo from a salvage yard over 10 years ago with little damage. Its been repaired and made road legal and has been running non stop since. The only time i had a problem with it was last winter when the RAC man explained to me that it the battery installed by another person had been the wrong type. It was a battery fit for a larger car possibly a van, and that had it not been for the great quality of the car and its parts, the battery would have eventually burned out the alternator, but in my case, all it did was discharge the battery (luckily for me). It still does around 360 miles in london (so stop start traffic) but have gotten 500 miles w... Read the full review: 1997 Polo 1.4 by ama7 |

VW Tiguan ... ve had this car for 3 months now and it s one of the best cars we ve ever had! We ve had VWs before, and this is just a solidly built, nice plastics in the cabin, decent seats, good layout of the dash. Plenty of room for the kids in the back, and the boot is plenty big enough for the buggy plus a few bags for weekends away. We d need a topbox to fit more stuff in for a proper holiday, but it comes with roof rails as standard. Our s is the 2L diesel and it easily does 40mpg, even pushing it sometimes. It s nice to drive, feels steady around corners and nippy too. The electronic handbrake takes a while to get used to, and you need to teach the kids not to pull it when yo...
