VW Beetle (Original) ... seeing my dad restoring his own VW Beetle, I had caught the bug. I knew that my first car had to be a Vee Dub. I now own my own 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, 1303 model. It is my first car, I love it, and use it every day to get me to work, uni and see my friends. VW made several models of the classic beetle, and regularly updated the practical features of the cars over the years, however they made a point of never changing the styling simply for the sake of change. VW Lupo 1.0 E 50bhp 3 door ... bought my little 1 L VW Lupo 6 months and 13000 miles ago and I love it. OK, so it is my first car so I guess I would be chuffed even if it was a Lada. However this is a genuinely great little car. It small engine means the road tax is less and also puts it in insurance band 2 which meant as a driver with no insurance history I was able to get fully comprehensive insurance for under £500 (from direct line, online). The other boon of an engine this size comes at the pump. Now the car is well and truly broken in I pay about 7-8 pence a mile in petrol. VW Polo (1994-99) ... have reciently bought a 2000 1.4s and it is absoulutly brilliant. when i bought it from whites the staff where very friendly and efficient they gave very helpful advice. as for the car itself it is great to drive the steering is very responsive and for a car of it's 1.4 multi point injection engine is reliable and fuel effcient which provides quiet a powerful kick for 60 bhp. the exterior of the polo is far superior to its previous model giving it a ultra modern feel to it new head lights grill and badge . the interior is very spacious for a car of it's size and can fit 4 adults comfortably , the rear seats can fold down to create more room when needed, insid...
