... should point out at the start of this review that I am a little biased - in my experience, people fall into two camps - those who love Beetles and want one despite any possible faults, and those who just think it is a silly, impractical bubble of a car. VW Golf GTI Hatchback 1.8T 5-door 150bhp ... have a 1.8GTI Turbo 20 valve. year 2000. its got a full black leather recaro interior. Silver. Ive only had it since march and im not sure what bhp it is, its a wicked going car and have beaten lots of 320 bmws etc. Some sites say its 150 or 180 bhp. The car is standard i know this because a neighbour of mine has owned the car from new. Even though i think its fast i do think that it should be quicker again than what it is. I need some advice on what i should do to get more power out of the car i dont want to chip it i want to keep it original. Volkswagen Fox 1.2 3dr ... car I was lucky enough to purchase with my dad as a 17th Birthday pressent this year - I know I told you I was lucky! We chose the red paint work, as standard as we couldn t see point of spending more money than required. The car I love - it is increasingly reliable, it hasn t broken down, made any weird noises or falted at all since I have had it. After passing my driving test it has been through the mill - I have burst one tyre, which I found particually easy to change with a bit of help (a 17 year old girl changing a tyre!). VW Beetle 2.0 3dr ... have had my beetle now for 2 months and I LOVE it! I was never a huge Beetle fan, however after realising that my budget wouldn t stretch to a Mini with everything on my wish list (Air Con, sunroof, leather seats), I began to look around. I can honestly say I am SO glad I didn t get a Mini. The Beetle is a real attention grabbing car, and I love everything about it. On the inside, everything is rounded and feels funky and retro, even the edges of the stereo are curved. I love the flower on the dash, and the big VW badge in the middle of my steering wheel.
