Where do i start??

These cars are amazing! They not only look the part but they proform aswell! If you was to get a Golf MK4 i would advise on getting a GT TDI (130BHP) If possible

I have drove a GT TDI 110BHP and i was amazed, The car is very powerfull and pulls well, Alot of Tourqe in the engine. You will find with a TDI Engine you are getting alot of miles for your £££ too. The car i drove was getting around 40 mpg and that wasnt driving slowly. I have been told that these cars can get upto 50mpg on motorways!!

You get in the car and straight away you have that VW feeling. Well built car and the interior lights are nice, Blue and red.

The car has a really big boot for you wifes shopping too ;) A good point to win over the lass if your intending to buy one!

The car was owned for 2 years and all that needed replacing was two front tires, Rear Window Wiper and a Turbo lead (which wasnt expensive)

If i was older and insurance wasnt the price it is then i would definatly go out and buy one of these..

Summary: If your going to buy, buy the GT TDI

Good cars but turbos easily wrecked if the oil is not kept in A1 condition and the correct grade used. Also important to understand turbo will get extremely hot in hard use and you must give it a chance to cool down before switching off the engine - by idling for up to a minute - or else the oil can carbonise, leading to ruined turbo bearings (and the dreaded whine, which is a sure sign of a half-shot turbo). How many second-hand TDIs out there have been treated correctly (or not) is anyone's guess...
