Advantages: Stunning Dashboard and interior, Great Handling, Powerful
Disadvantages: Extras!
The volkswagon Golf is probally the most desired sports hatchback of the current Era and after purchasing mine from the local dealer I am positive as to why this is.
The version I bought comes with air conditioned seat(oooooh) and with a massive 230 Brake horse power, turbo-Charged engine which revs upto 5,600 RPM which is quite impressibe for a 3 door Hatchback.
I find that going round the corners is a breeze, provided that you have power-steering which is a bonus, the interior is beatiful, with Pontiac seats and a dark grey Dash.
Also you can get added features which disgust me completely, they are milking money by asking you if you want an upgrade from Aluminium to Zinc Pedals! "Well see the thing is mate what I really want is pedal's not Gold trimmed Dashboard accesories" Exactly the thing I felt like saying.
Due to they're being a lot of extra features a luxury Sport GTI version is going to cost Half the car itself! Disgraceful and that will get it a star knocked off.
The Throttle response can be a bit nasty at times, making me furious with the gears and throttle, but despite it being a pain it is no major fault.
The top speed's reach 140 and has five or six gears.
The Engine I have is diesel and it runs at 25MPG which I think is amazing considering it is a medium weighted sports hatchback. But petrol Tanks are available( and cheaper if I may add).
On the whole the car has some amazing features and it is no suprise It has a cabinet full of trophies, the car itself handles well, has a lot of power and is very reliable.
I recommend to anyone who wants a great sports car.
