I have a 2012 Black four door Jeep Wrangler Sport, I have had him for almost 2 years and the only things that have had to been replaced were the pistons and battery. Both were covered by warranty and had been recalled, so they were replaced at no charge to me. I love my Jeep. The turning radius is amazing. The fact that it is a V6 is amazing. I have the hardtop and it is impossible to take off by myself (I am a 120lb female). The doors weight approximately 50lbs each and are pretty tough to take off without hurting some paint. The stock tires are TERRIBLE. No traction on wet pavement whatsoever. Anytime it rains I literally have to slow down and go five to ten MPH under the posted speed limit to keep from hydroplaning. I would definitely suggest anyone to buy a Jeep. Its only the little things like new tires and buying a soft top for warm weather that makes it more driver friendly. EPA is 15 in city and 21 on highway.
I Had a black one of these earlier this year. But it had to go. 4.0l Engine was costing me £60-80 a week in petrol Tyres cost £200 each. Oil was leeking all over the place (£350 each time to get that fixed) The electrics went (£399) The brakes died. (£600) The battery corroded (due to the way the bonnet was positioned) (£170) Original extras were expensive ! And that damn programme "Queer as folk" made it difficult for me to park it without some idiot leaving a post it note or some message saying "queer" on it Luckily nothing worse than that !!! It was a sad day when it had to go. I loved this car !!
