This is an highly effective flea treatment for larger cats that lasts a month.
The active ingredient is 80mg Imidacloprid which seems to work very effectively against fleas unlike some of the other popular brands.
Like many treatments it is a back of neck spot on type. The treatment comes in a small tube and is a little easier to use than some others that use a flimsy pipette that needs peeling out of a foil package. It's simple to apply by parting your cats hair at the back of the neck, where they can't reach to lick, and then squeezing out the contents.
I've noticed it to smell less than other flea treatments although it leaves the same greasy mark on the back of the cat's neck for a day or so.
This products is for use on kittens aged 8 weeks and older weighing over 4kg. It can also be used on large rabbits. If you have smaller cats there is a version available that contains a lower dosage of 40 mg Imidacloprid and for use on small cats, small breeds of dogs and small rabbits.
The pack we bought contains 4 tubes and therefore lasts 4 months on a single cat. It costs around £11 for this size pack although like many pet products it's much cheaper in online pet shops than in a veterinary surgery.
It's not as easy to find as some flea treatments but is often available in veterinary surgeries or bigger pet shops.
