“ Brand: Hunter / Type: Cat Collars, Leads & ID „
A special cat deserves a special collar and this one is certainly very attractive, the only downside to it is that somehow he managed to loose it! There were a couple of times where I found it around the house and then on one of his jaunts outside he came back without it! A bit of a shame as he couldn't get back in through the cat flap as the tag was attached to his collar. These are expensive to replace so luckily I have a much more robust collar now and he can go out whenever he pleases. He is certainly more of a house cat as he certainly prefers his home comforts these days.
==Price and availability==
I paid £4.99 for this collar and I bought it from my local pet shop. You can buy it online for £4.99.
The collar is made from faux leather in red and it has white little Swiss crosses on the front. The stitching is red and attached to the collar is a reflective fish shaped tag where you can display your telephone number and contact details along with a small bell. The bell is quite loud and tinkles well enough to have prevented him bringing home any unfortunate birds in the short time we owned the collar. The collar features a quick release plastic clasp and is adjustable with a plastic guard.
==Someone didn't like it....==
This was a really gorgeous collar and looked wonderful against his pale fur. It had the show off look that came from the leather look and reflective fish. I am really disappointed that it got lost somewhere as I thought he looked mighty good in it! The collar fitted well and it is really easy to adjust, I do not like them to fit too tight so I always make sure that I can get two fingers down the side. The quick release catch is a big advantage if the cat gets caught on something; it is designed to come off easier rather than a belt buckle type design as this can trap the cat.
The clasp also makes it easier for me to put on, he is a big softie but wearing a collar is not his favourite thing so he does not sit very still whilst I fasten it on. Unfortunately my moggy was determined to shed his collar and I have found it a couple of occasions in the house and then he went and lost it irretrievably outside. I have never been able to see what he does to get out of it but he managed to work it loose somehow. His current collar has the same type of fastener but as yet it remains fastened. Perhaps the clasp was looser on this particular one, however I was not impressed as a good collar will cost around a fiver and I do not really want to keep having to buy new ones all the time!
Finally for cats charming Hunter faux leather cat collar in Swiss design with reflective tag attachment and bells - classic cool
