If you can get it for a decent price, your cat will be very pleased with it.

I purchased the Pets at Home Kitty Corner Activity Centre around 2 years ago. It was purchased for the latest addition to my clowder of cats, Moss. All four of my cats use it, mainly to scratch, but Moss uses it for sleeping as well. Height wise it is just under a metre tall at 94cm, and at its widest it around 55cm. The tree is quite heavy at over 6kg, but even my biggest cat Chubbs, who weights 12lbs, hasn't yet managed to pull it over (yet!). The colours are a creamy beige and dark brown, and it comes with 2 hidden mice and 3 balls on some elastic, though these are mostly ignored. It was quite easy to put together, and the only section that has needed retightening is the paw seat which can spin around a little. I have found with other cat trees and posts that eventually the rope frays and comes off, but on this tree, even after 2 or so years, the rope still looks as good as it was new. Where there is wear is on the paw seat, which is starting to become a bit threadbare and has a few holes. This is in part due to Moss ripping at it rather than the rope legs. Overall I would recommend this activity centre; it has a lot of roped areas for claw sharpening, and a comfortable seat for the cats to rest on. I paid around £35 for it, and I think it was fairly decent value for money.

      great activity set

After recently rescuing my first kitten I was told to invest in a good scratch pole activity centre to avoid my kitten ruining all of my furntiure with his ever so sharp claws. I didn't want a basic small pole which my kitten may lose interest in but also didn't want to spend a small fortune in case he lost interest. As my kitten was only 10 weeks old when he got him I knew he had to stay in doors until he was 5 months and neutered so thought I would go for an activity centre which was somewhere in the middle. I opted for the kitty activity centre. Price and where to buy The Kitty Activity Centre costs £37.00 from Pets at Home and I received 10% online discount for registering an email address with them. I thought this was a fair price as some were retailing for £70 plus! The set does need assembling but this is very easy to do. You also get free delivery with the option of collecting at our local store. Quality The activity centre is made with woven sisal which is perfect for your kitten/cats as it is strong, durable and perfect for them to scratch their claws onto! There are 3 platforms which are padded with soft material making them perfect places for your cat to play or snooze on! There are three soft balls on elasticated material for your cat to play with and also two soft mice on elasticated strong which slot inside 2 of the poles and a a great game for your cat to play with. The set comes in a beige/brown fabric which is very neutral and fits into all colour schemes without looking tacky or standing out too much. The product dimensions out of the packaging are 94cm x 55cm x 40cm. My opinion My kitten loves this activity set. He immediately ran over and started running his claws doen the main poles. He loves to climb onto the platforms and we had been feeding him on the top one to prevent our dog from eating his food. He loves to play with the soft balls and also to pull at the mice which are hidden in the poles. He hasn't had a nap on the centre yet but rather uses it for play time. The set seems pretty durable and sturdy. Overall a really good set at a fair price.
