      The best I have tried

      When I compare all the brushes and combs I have purchased this is by far the best. I have a problem with my cat because he is a Siamese and I am always finding beige and white hairs all over the house. I pick out my favourite black cardigan and sit on the sofa in it only to find that within minutes it is covered in hairs! I regularly groom the cat in order to remove some of these before they end up being strewn around my house and it is also a good way of having some bonding time.

      ==Price and availability==

      The curry comb can be bought online for around £3.50. It is also stocked in some pet shops although I bought this online from eBay.

      ==Description==

      The comb I have is red and made from rubber. There is a handle to hold or you can slip your fingers in and use the comb flat against your hand. This way you can control the comb much more and it is like you are stroking him. The teeth on the comb are plentiful, long and tightly knitted together. Sometime when we groom him, the cat likes to try an attack the comb and has bitten the teeth. There is a couple that have been broken off.

      ==In use==

      This comb is gentle because it bends when it exerts too much pressure on the cat. The best thing about it is it's ability to de hair the cat! Within a few good strokes the hairs start to come up and although the comb is not great at holding on to the hairs you can brush these away with your hand. Some do stay in the comb but on the whole they just come up after being loosened. The hairs clump together though due to the static caused by the rubber brush. This then means that you can brush them out and pick them up. In all honestly I tend to favour brushing him outside as it is hard to pick up all the loose fur.

      The cat loves it. He comes over rubbing his head and teeth on it before flopping on his belly and letting my rub him all over. He has the louder purr so I know that he is really enjoying it. He is a really affectionate cat anyway but when I groom him he is my best friend, climbing all over me and wanting cuddles.

      Back to the hair situation though, this is the best brush I have come across for removing hair. The static seems to pull the hair up to the surface. When we first used this it was a massive ball of fit that we took off him, the old brush was only scratching the surface.

      In respect of quality, this is rather cheaply made but it works and it is the cheap rubbery feeling that the cat seems to adore. I can certainly recommend this brush as it does the job and the cat loves it. I always worry about him having hairballs so the less loose hairs the better!

      A handy product

      Our cats do love a bit of attention and sometimes they love nothing better than a bit of a tummy rub or a bit of a tickle under the chin. We bought a Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush as we thought it would serve as a dual purpose product that would give our cats a relaxing massage type effect and also a quick grooming all at the same time.

      The Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush has been a big hit with our cats as its nice rubbery texture and closely situated grooming heads/ teeth give a wonderful over all texture that seems to send our cats into kitty cat bliss. We have found that using the comb when one of the cats jumps up for a cuddle gives us chance to give our cats a light grooming whilst making them really happy and relaxed.

      **********************************************************
      When we bought the Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush we thought it might be of some use, but had no idea how well received it would turn out to be. Using the comb is easy as the cats have come to recognise it and will happily come over to be groomed and massaged with it when they are in the right mood.

      Not only is the product double sided for a variety of texture, but its shape is easy to grip when using the curry brush. Its rubbery feel and texture doesn't seem to bother our cats at all and the use of the comb usually ends up with us having a happy purring kitty.

      **********************************************************
      We have found that the Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush can be used on the main body of our cats with good effect, but can also be used with care to groom paws, legs and tail areas. One area the cats seem to love being combed on is under the chin which results in lots of nuzzling and purring.

      The use of the Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush is something we view as a dual purpose item. Not only can it give our cats a nice enhancing massage which makes them happy and relaxed, but it can also when used with a grooming wipe or shine spray leave our cats fur with a lovely healthy shiny coat.

      **********************************************************
      You can use the Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush either wet or dry, although we favour using it dry. It can be washed in warm soapy water or in a mix of pet shampoo and warm water and then left to dry for its next use. Its very easy to care for and is a low maintenance grooming tool.

      You can end up with small clumps of fur build up as you work your way around your cats fur with the comb, but as its designed to remove loose and unwanted hair from your pet this is something to be expected. We have found that we can generally remove these hairs without any fuss and then clean the comb ready for its next use.

      **********************************************************
      The curry comb is something we have found our cats really like when they are in the right mood and as it can help with overall coat condition, contribute towards our cats happiness and help circulation all at the same time. Its so simple and easy to use that it gets a 5 star rating.

      The comb is versatile and both cat and user friendly. We have found it can give a two sided and varied massage effect with its dual purpose concave and flat sides. It gives a pleasing massage effect, grooms at the same time and our cats do seem to like it.

      There is nothing better than a happy cat. In order for the cat to be happy they require a number of things. 1) Food. Lots of it and the most expensive brands available. 2) Love and care. This may include playing with the cat or more importantly Grooming! A cat loves being groomed and the Safari Rubber Curry Cat Brush seems to hit "the spot". All I have to do is pick the brush up and the cat jumps onto me in anticipation of a right good grooming! They tend to refer the grooming to focus around the neck and back of the head. Around the tail and belly seem to be no no's so be warned the cat might turn on you. A groom a day helps the cat doctor away...
