a fun toy for my bun buns

I have often come home with a heavy shopping bag and light wallet eager to share gifts with my spoiled bunny rabbit only to find she shows little to no interest preferring to eat my sofa or knock over my pot plants.

Always eager to please though, I bough this tunnel from Amazon for £11.89. The advert here says its for cats but the one I bought is exactly the same and was advertised for rabbits. The only difference appears to be was that there was no toy in the middle for the rabbit which is a good thing as she would have eaten it!

The product comes squished flat contained by velcro straps. Once open the three tunnels spring outward to form a triangle shape. Viola its ready for use by your bun (or cat).

Its made of relatively sturdy plastic material the sort of thing you might find on an anorak or tent. If you have ever used those washing hampers that spring open the tunnels work just like that. You can easily push it back together, secure with the velcro and put it away. I did worry my bun would quickly chew through the material. But, I guess she figured it didn't taste too good. After a few chomps got straight down to some tunneling fun.

My rabbit is a regular size dutch and fits through the tunnels with ease. There is a little hole in the middle which I presume is designed for them to poke their head out but in my view this is a tad small so my rabbit doesn't make much use of it preferring to stay under the tunnels. If you have a dwarf rabbit this will be fine but if you have a giant lop or a big chubby bunny then the tunnels may be a bit tight.

I was very pleased to see how quickly my rabbit took to this toy and haven't put it away since. Its a pleasure to see her enjoy herself dashing in and out of the tunnels.

If you have a bun that enjoys tunneling as I imagine most of them do get them some tunnels, build them a make shift warren and watch them run through the tunnels happily.

Ok, this product doesn't look pretty nonetheless It stays out in my hallway for the rabbit to enjoy. Anything to keep her happy....and from from climbing up the walls!

      Great long lasting Cat product.

Brought from Amazon this spring loaded Cat tunnel comes collapsed with a elastic type band to secure it for easy transporting and storage.

The tunnel itself is pretty noisy as is made out of "rattling plastic" and is not the easiest to take down but our cat has a lot of fun using it when we do cat agility. It Even comes with a little toy in the middle for the cat to play with which hangs from the top of tunnel.
The top hole is 5" diameter and not very supported for easily getting in and out of like the side ones.

The one we have is actually pink and grey and is secured by 3 plastic toggles when not in use and the only bad thing is it takes up a lot of space when it's up but otherwise is great indoors or out.

      Size:
Approx. 10" diameter and each tunnel piece is around 20" long.

      Would i buy it again?
      Yes
