Advantages: She loves these cheese and cereal treats and that amazing in itself!
Disadvantages: Absoloutely none, I may write to Dreamies myself and thank them!
My kitten Myrtle is notoriously a very fussy eater. I have even taken her to the vets about her not eating it worried me so much and treats for her...well she'never liked them so never really had any. I've bought bags and bags of things to tempt her with, I deny her nothing but all I ever did was waste my money!
A while ago I tried her on a couple of Dreamies that my friend gave me to give her to try to no joy at all, then today we were out on our joint balcony talking to the same friend who's kitten Maizie was out scoffing almost a whole bag of these at the time and my mate chucked a few to Myrtle who gobbled them up. Thinking it was a fluke when me and Myrtle came back into our flat my friend knocked my door offered her a different flavoured couple of Dreamies. Again she woofed them down! So off I've been shopping and I've stocked up on not only every variety of Dreamies I could find but also some Felix ones she sampled and liked too!
Well these come in various sized plastic yellow coloured bags, I bought the 60g, medium sized bag which cost me £1.30 in Tesco however there is a smaller bag available for about 85p and a very large bag for £2.00 as to which now I wish I'd bought the large bag at the rate Myrtle is trying to go through them! The bag has a picture of a cartoon style cat on it and we are told what they are an who they are by and that they are crunchy outside, soft inside, that they contain cheese, that our sized bag contains 30+ servings and the size is stated on then on the back of the bag other information given includes being told abit about the product and that they only contain 2 calories per treat, feeding instructions are given (Feed up to 20 pieces per day), the ingredients are listed and contact details for the manufacturer are also clearly given. The bag has a resealable piece on it and they can stay fresh using that for about 4 weeks.
What can I say?! I am so delighted with these...they must be tasty for Myrtle to love them as much as she does believe me! Small and light brown, square in shape, they are dainty sized biscuits, perfect for a lazy cat like mine to chew! They are very crunchy indeed and Myrtle chews them up very fast, licking her lips as she goes. I have to count up to 20 pieces because Myrtle would eat way more (as does my friends kitten Maizie!). Myrtle won't come to me for them but I place them in front of her and she munches them easily and quickly!
I was very upset at not being able to buy Myrtle little treats or when I did having to give them away. I want her to have and enjoy things and I don't really care what it costs me to give her a nice life so they've have been an absolute Godsend for me! I don't know who likes them more me or Myrtle but I think they are worth every penny they cost! They look good quality, you get plenty in a bag and they're not unhealthy!
Available in all good supermarkets and pet shops and so on and in various flavours.
