Advantages: resealable packs, many flavours, cats love them

Disadvantages: None

As part of my kittens christmas gifts, I got her two bags of Dreamies Cat Snacks. She had not had them before, so I was keen to try her on something new, and I hoped she would like them.

I had seen the cat treats advertised on the TV with an advert where the cat runs through a wall to get the treats!! I bought two bags, one which was Duck flavoured and the other which was Chicken flavour.

Inside the bag of treats you will find small, square shaped pieces which are of a golden brown colour, and have a slightly textured appearance. There does not appear to be an obvious smell to the treats when you open the bag, but I can not say I have sniffed one up close to see what it smells like.

I started my cat on the Duck flavoured treats, and at first she just looked at them, but when she started eating them, her little face seemed to light up and the swallowed a load of them down. Now every time I shake the bag of Dreamies, she does indeed come running for them, although thankfully not through a wall!

She does get very excited at the prospect of having them, and I am pleased she likes them, as it means I can give her something to treat her every now and then. She likes both flavours that I have tried her on, and as they do come in other flavours too, I am hoping to try her on those sometime soon.

I believe these also come in Beef and Salmon flavours, and each bag has a different colour to represent the flavours. The duck ones come in a purple bag and the chicken ones come in an orange coloured bag.

I bought these in my local branch of Pampurred Pets, as they were on an offer for buying two bags. You can also get them in other pet stores, as well as major supermarkets like Tesco or Morrisons. I believe I paid just £2 for the two bags as part of the offer, but I am not 100% sure what the usual price of them is.

My cat does love them, and I think the price I paid for them was very good value for money, as there is a lot of the treats in the bag, and you only need to give the cat a few at a time to keep them happy. I will happily be giving these to my cat in the future, and I am sure she will be happy with this decision.

I give Dreamies cat treats a 5 out of 5 stars and I recommend them to you and your cat.

Summary: A good treat for your cat
