After being really pleased with some Felix cat treats I bought recently, after my cat Myrtle turned her nose up (yet again) at some food I put down for her I had to dash out and grab some more food for her from a local corner shop and when I spotted this Felix cat food in a handy pouch in jelly I decided to get it. I couldn't let me baby starve after all! The Pouch: The food comes in a blue and red coloured plastic on the outside, silver foil on the inside oblong shaped pouch. On the front of it we are told that it is Felix With Beef In Jelly and that the weight of it is 100g and that it gives 100% of your cats daily needs and that it contains Vitamins D & E, contains balanced minerals and is a source of Omega 6 and there is a picture of a cat on there and then on the back of the pouch other information given includes being told a bit about the product, there is a feeding guide and ingredients given an contact details for Purina (the manufacturer of the product are given). The Food: The food, to me smells meaty and you get lots of pinkish coloured large chunks in a thin but set browny coloured jelly and the whole things squeezes out of the pouch really easily ina thin block and I give it a quick mash. This contains meat and fish derivatives but only 4% beef which I was a bit concerned about mind you. We are advised to give an adult cat 4 pouches of this a day in 2 separate meals but Myrtle is fussy, gets bored and won't eat pouches all day long so I have to offer a variety of different foods to her to get her to eat anything. However to me this looks nice enough food but Myrtle simply isn't keen on it one bit. She will have a nibble but never eats a full dish of this and I do end up throwing rather a lot away so it's a bit of a waste of time this one for us sadly. This is available in all good supermarkets and pet shops and the likes an I paid 55p for my pouch but I won't be buying this flavour again I have to admit as Myrty didn't seem to appreciate it all.
