“ Manufacturer: Nestle Purina Petcare / Type: Food „
Anyone that knows me knows that I am totally in love with my beautiful cat Myrtle! I simply adore her and take any opportunity I can to spoil her. We are members of the VIP scheme at pets at home which means that regularly we get coupons for money off things plus money off things to spend as we like and recently we got a £1.50 off anything we wanted to spend instore and I felt that this needed spending on some treats, whether it be Felix ones, Dreamies or Whiskers and in the end I opted for these cos I simply had never heard or seen this variety out before and I do like to surprise my moggy with things she hasn't had before!
This flavour comes in a bright green and dark blue bag with a picture shown of a cat on there are we are clearly told that they are Purina Felix Goody Countryside Mix 'Flavoured with Duck, Turkey and Rabbit' and that they contain Vitamins, Proteins and Omega 6 and there are a few little pictures shown of the treats themselves and then on the back of the bag other information listed includes being told a bit about the treats plus other a bit about other flavours in the range, feeding advice is given plus ingredients and composition of them, we are told that the weight of these is 60g ad contact details for the manufacturer are given. If you collect the Felix stamps on the back of the packs these have one on them you can simply redeem these by logging on to the website and picking what you like to redeem them against from bowls to water fountains for you kittens/cats.
These come in different colours from dark brown to bright red and in different shapes such as stars, weird looking ducks, squares with holes in and no matter the shape they all smell meaty and yeasty to me and are not big and are easy to handle for my girl.
We have had nothing but positive experiences with these Felix Goody Bags from Purina but I don't think this flavour floats my baby's boat as much as other on offer from this range. She still shows an interest, still crunches them up and hoovers the bits up however she won't beg for these and will leave a few on the floor and simply give up. These you are meant to give no more to your cat than 40 pieces a day, my greedy girl will only eat a few in a sitting, gets very thirsty and goes for a drink and then goes back to bed so I have no fear she will eat 40 of these at any time!
Not really for us these though but I won't quibble with the quality of these, I think it just comes down to my Myrtles taste buds and these not quite hitting the mark!
Available from all good supermarkets and pets shops and the likes, they usually retail at about £1.19 a bag and you get loads of them!
