My four cats all love these and rush to their feeding dishes when they see me with the bag. Turned to these after they started to turn their little noses up at the previous cat biscuits I was buying. My cats are different ages and different breeds but they all love these which makes buying pet food and feeding times so much easier.
They seem to have shinier coats since turning to these and their dishes are always emptied. The biscuits don't seem to have that funny lingering smell like some other cat biscuits have so that is definitely another plus point.
I always ensure that they have plenty of fresh water which should always be the case with dried food.
Like the fact that the bag is re sealable as no spills when taking in and out of cupboard and helps to keep the biscuits fresh. Always available in my local supermarket as well as the larger pet stores which is a bonus.
Size of the biscuits seem just right for cats to munch and help to keep their teeth clean. I'm sure if I tried taking these away from my cats that I'd have a mutiny on my hands as they seem to love them so much. Stock up when on offer as they keep nice and fresh for ages. Happy paying normal price for these but even more pleased when they are on special offer. Can recommend these as your little moggies will not be disappointed and will love you for ever!
So I have two very fussy cats (Java and Ruby) when it comes to food. They are two years old and they only like cheap pets food, wet pouch with gravy that seems to get everywhere. I hate having to feed them this stuff as it smells bad, makes a mess and is hard to store. Also it never fills them up. So I have been looking to an alternative that they will like for a long time. I wonted something that would keep them healthy and keep me happy to. So I tried go cat crunch and tender and they love it both of them which is amazing. It does not smell bad the feeding area is now clean, it had easy to read instructions on the back of the packet, as I was not sure how much to feed them at first. I would say as it is still dry food they do need more water now. But the vet says this is normal. What I also love is that it seems to fill them up more as they are now not begging for food so much and their coats seem to be shiner too. The pack is also easy to store in a cupboard and it is resealable and does not take up to much room in the recycling. You can get it in most supermarkets which is also helpful and I used to have to travel 11 miles to a special please to get the last stuff. It does cost a little more but I am happy to pay this to keep me and them happy. I really like this product have would and have recommended it to my friends that have cats .
A good diet is important to keep my cat healthy and I also need to ensure he appreciates the food.
Go Cat Crunchy & Tender is a 100% complete, balanced pet food that offers two different textures for your cat's enjoyment.
Kibbles that are Crunchy are contained by it, to help maintain healthy teeth and gums.
And some softer, more tender kibbles that provide additional nutrition to your cat. They are richer in Omega 3 fatty acids from fish which donate to a shiny coat and help support his natural defences.
Go Cat Crunchy & Tender supplies your cat with all the essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals he needs to stay healthy and live life to the full.
AS a good pet lover,I've a fussy cat who in particularly can just stand a couple of varieties. I got a sample of this for free with some Felix and it was immediately a hit.
Our cat turns her wet food down and eats this instead when she's given both at dinner time (although it's a cat food that is complete, so you could simply give your cat this).
The primary negative is when it really isn't in an offer the fact that it's fairly high-priced. Just about 350g is GBP 1 but it's heading towards the GBP2 mark, and it's not an option that is very thrifty when you've got a ravenous cat. We've also had difficulties closing the bag correctly using the seal, it does not appear to adhere on very well.
My cat (Arnold has always been a very fussy eater. As a young kitten he would only eat whiskers kitten pouches in gravy (not jelly!), and would just turn his nose up and walk away from any other make / brand.
As he got a little older he suddenly stopped eating ‘wet’ food of any variety, brand or flavour but seemed to fall in love with Go Cat dry cat food, and started to drink a lot more water too which I decided was no bad thing, and this is the way he has stayed up until this present day.
About 12 months ago I spotted an offer advertised on the MSE (Money Saving Expert) website for a free sample of Go Cat’s new dry food called Crunchy and Tender, so I promptly filled in my details and sent off for it.
When it arrived I tried it on Arnold, half expecting him to know it was different stuff to normal and just walk away from it but he surprised me by scoffing it all down very quickly so I now regularly buy him this Crunchy and Tender dry food from Go Cat.
It generally costs about £1:50 - £2:00 for a 375 gram packet depending on which supermarket you purchase it from. The flavour is described as ‘Beef, Chicken and added vegetables’ and the colours of the little pieces of dried food (which can be referred to as kibbles) are coloured dark brown, light brown, and green to represent these flavours.
Now having not tried it myself I cannot really vouch for the taste of this product, but Arnold has always liked it and he is a very healthy little cat at the age of 8 now. He will empty his bowl quite quickly of this food from Go Cat compared to his slow nibbling of other Go Cat products so he clearly likes the taste. The kibbles are sized nicely and fit into his mouth easily without rolling around the bowl, and he has no problem crunching them in his teeth. The packaging is resealable which is an added bonus as it helps to keep the product fresh and also helps to contain the smell (although it is not very smelly at all)
Therefore this product is highly recommended by me (and Arnold).
Thanks for reading.

My cat is a very fussy eater, and a strange eater really because she will eat non stop for a few days then for next few days she hardly eats, just picks at things. My daughter bought the ca t some of these go cat biscuits when she was going through her fussy eating stage.
When I first put them in to her dish she quickly tucked in and ate most of the biscuits. I am not sure what makes these so different to the normal go cat biscuits taste wise ( unless I tasted them ) !
The biscuits come in a bag for freshness which you can seal up again once you have taken out the required amount for your cat. The sizes of the individual biscuits are all different and some are hard and some are soft, so the cat has a variety of tastes and textures. I read they have crunchy kibbles, to help maintain healthy teeth and gums, and also some softer, more tender kibbles that provide extra nutrition to your cat.
I would consider giving my cat these biscuits instead of her normal cat food.
As it was my daughter that bought the biscuits for our cat I am not sure how much she paid for them, however, after doing a quick on line search, I see that Tesco are selling them for £3.15.
For no other reason other than the price, I will not be buying these biscuits for our cat - not unless they are ever on offer. They are a bit too pricey at the moment.
I have two cats, one is very old at almost seventeen and the other is just out of kittenhood. They both like very different food and now Teacake has become very fussy about what she eats. IN an attempt to get her to eat more, as she is looking quite skinny in her old age, I decided to buy some Go Cat Tender and Crunchy dried cat food. These came in a massive bag and cost me only one pound ninety nine pence from Home Bargains. This is basically dried kibble and the one I purchased comes in turkey beef and vegetables. I am guessing that the green bits of the kibble represents the vegetable and whilst Teacake will eat this dried cat food readily, she will not suffer to touch the green bits and she leaves them in the bottom of her food bowl every time I give them to her. Both cats are always thirsty whenever I give them this particular dried cat food and so I make sure that I have a fresh bowl of water for them to drink out of. on the positive side, my younger cat seems to be very fond of the green veggie kibbles so he eats them if the older cat decides to leave them. The other good thing about this food is that unlike wet cat food, it is good for their teeth and my vet has actually suggested that I encourage both cats to eat this as it massages their gums and helps to prevent gum disease and decay. This food can be used on it's own or used as a supplement but it is one hundred percent nutritious and I know that I am giving both of my cats their energy and vitamin requirements for the day whenever I give them this. it is also a brand which I trust and has a full list of al the ingredients on the reverse of the bag. I am very happy with this cat food and both of my cats enjoy eating it and so I have to recommend it.
My Myrtle is extremely fussy and its very hard to find food for her that she enjoys. Recently I got a trial pack of these through the post that I requested free from a website and Myrtle relished them. I forgot about that though and continued to buy whatever I saw for her that I thought she would enjoy but then out of the blue I spotted a 375g bag of these of these ''With Beef, Chicken And Added Vegetables'' in Poundland and remembered how much she loved them so I bought a couple of bags sadly though they had no choice other than these in flavours but hey ho I knew that I was getting a good deal and the most important thing is that my little munchkin loves them, a great fact that I knew already!

The bag is plastic and mainly bright yellow in colour with a photograph shown of a ginger cat on the front of it and then we are clearly told they are product from Purina and that this food provides 100% Nutrition and then what they are of course and the flavour as I have mentioned already and we are also told that these were voted product of the year this year and that they keep teeth and gums healthy and help to keep muscle tone and strong bones and then on the back of the bag other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, a feeding guide is given, the ingredients are listed along with nutritional advice, the weight of the product is stated and contact details for the manufacturer are stated. This bag is strong and robust and has a press zip style way of getting in and out of the bag so the kibbles stay fresh.
The Food Itself:
These are basically dried kibbles and they are small and some are a deep red colour, some green and some beige and they just have a sort of vegetable smell to me really.
I feed Myrtle on demand and she has a diet of both wet and dried food, these she comes running for and I''m sure she thinks of these as a treat! They sound crunchy as she tucks into them and I''m happy that she likes these because they are a reasonably healthy and nutritionally balanced food that contain real meat, Proteins and Vitamin D. My Myrtle is a young coming up for two year old cat so she''s healthy in my opinion but I do like her to have a healthy diet but one that she enjoys at the same time of course! These don''t seem to make her more thirsty after eating them than other foods and they certainly don''t seem to upset her somewhat iffy tummy she has from time to time! All in all she loves them so, so do I!

As my headline suggests, I have a fussy cat who in particular can only stand a few varieties of biscuits. I got a sample of this for free with some Felix and it was immediately a hit.
The texture of these biscuits differ to traditional go cat biscuits and there seem to be a variety of shapes and sizes offering different benefits, i.e. some for the teeth - just as the name would suggest really. Our cat turns down her wet food and eats this instead when she's given both at dinner time (although it is a complete cat food, so you could just give your cat this).
The main negative is that it's pretty expensive when it isn't in a offer. Just about 350g is £1 on offer but otherwise it's heading towards the £2 mark, and when you have a ravenous cat that eats 80g a day it's not a very thrifty option. We've also had difficulties closing the bag properly with the seal, it doesn't seem to stick very well.
I have 2 cats Layla and Daisy who have both wet and dry food daily, usually the dry element of their diet is either Go Cat, which Layla loves or Purina One which is Daisy's favourite, I tend to stick mainly to these as Daisy gets real bad wind with some cat foods, while shopping recently I noticed a new Go Cat dry food called Crunchy and Tender I bought some to try and hoped that we wouldn't be living in a wind tunnel!
Crunchy and Tender is sold in a plastic bag which is mainly yellow in colour, the front displays the Go Cat logo and shows a picture of a ginger cat. The customer is informed that crunchy and tender is good for healthy teeth and gums and provides a natural defence for a shiny coat.
The back of the packet gives all the information you would expect to fid on a product like this such as ingredients, feeding guide and a small statement about the product.
Opening the bag requires scissors to cut along the top but once open there is a re-sealable strip which keeps the food fresh and contained.
Inside the bag the crunchy biscuits are small, round and various shades of brown and green, the tender ones are more of a reddish/brown in colour and are bigger than the crunchy biscuits, they have a ridged appearance and remind me of Frazzles. The biscuits don't really smell that nice but then I'm not a cat.
Crunchy and Tender is available in2 flavours, Salmon, Tuna and added vegetables and Beef, Chicken and vegetables.
I gave my girls Go Cat Crunchy and Tender and as usual with anything new they approached their bowls with caution, after a good sniff they both decided it was safe to eat and tucked in until their bowls were clean.
I've been buying this for a few weeks now along with Purina One so they don't get fed up with it too soon. I've given them both flavours and they seem to favour the fishy one a little more. I can guarantee their bowls will be cleaned when they have been given this and they purr as I'm pouring it into their bowls.
I buy my Crunchy and Tender from Tesco where a 375g bag costs £1.49 and an 800g bag is £3.15, I will continue to buy this for Daisy and Layla for as long as they like it, its reasonably priced and I find the re-saealable bag better than a box, especially with a 15 month old in the house who thinks the cats biscuits and for shaking.
If you have cats that eat dry food I would certainly recommend trying this my girls love it and so far no wind!.
