      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Helps cat enjoy their food for longer

We went through a period of time where all our cat did was swallow her food and not chew. This is obviously not great and especially not for her digestion.

On recommendation of a friend and then on the Royal Canin website this style of dry food is designed to tackle that problem.

This is dry cat food with a different texture to help your cat chew the food.
This is packed with nutrition and fibre that slows the process down so that it can ensure it reaches all your cat's needs.

The ingredients to help digestibility are:
      FISH
      WHEAT

      FIBRE to aid transit.
      CHICORY
      MARSHMELLOW ROOT
FOS- prevents bacteria that can cause diarrhoea/ clears out the large intestine.
      CELLULOSE

This has a slightly more pungent smell when we opened the bag and thought that our cat might not go for it, however, without second thought she ate this but not devoured.
She literally could only chew one at a time and therefore we found she was by her food bowl reassuringly longer.

This supplement to her wet food worked I would say within two weeks. The product explains you should notice a difference in the stool and all I'm saying is we so did and was very grateful for it!

Overall, when this is weighed out properly it lasts a good two months, free measuring cups are available at Pets at Home and a chart or table shown on the product or on the website to recommend how much you should be using for the cat's weight.
      Head to ROYALCANIN.CO.UK for guide.

This can be expensive but it you take on board the health benefits and the issues it will be reducing meaning less vet visits, this is well worth the money.

Prices and sizes vary online from £10 up to £40.

Double action for optimal digestive comfort. The texture and shape of the kibbles encourages your cat to chew thus slowing ingestion time. Thorough chewing helps reduce the risk of regurgitation and prepares the food for digestion. Proteins (from fish and wheat) selected for their very high level of digestibility together with a combination of four fibres (chicory marshmallow root FOS and cellulose) help aid digestion and regulate intestinal transit.
