A good choice of food for us and so cheap as well!

With Myrtle being a very fussy eater indeed and refusing more often than not the food I give her I'm in a catch 22 situation. I think I should buy expensive food but then she leaves it and it goes in the bin. I worry about buying cheap food as it may not be great for her and of course, she'll walk away from that and most of the time I really am in a no win situation!

One of the things about Myrtle is she is only just gone 4 months old and should by rights be on kitten food till she is about one years old. Myrtle though refuses to eat kitten food often and so the vet said to try mix her diet up a little and give her adult food as well. Although I would prefer to give her less rich food and stuff designed for her you can't flog a dead horse and she isn't listening to me at all so now she is having kitten food as well as adult.

      The Food:

This comes in a shallowish gold coloured foil square with a peel off lid to the top of it which is black and red in colour and there is a photograph of a white cat on there and we are told that it is Tesco Luxury Collection Pate With Beef & Liver and that it is enriched with vitamins and minerals then on the bottom of the tray other information listed includes the ingredients used and the nutritional additives within it, there is a feeding guide shown, the size is stated which is 100g and contact details for Tesco are given. This is a nice enough little tray and informative enough too.

      The Pate:

Tip this upside down and the meat comes out in a moist square. It is moist and not drippy or anything and looks like a human pate really and looks pinkish and smells meaty though not particularly of beef & liver...just meaty really.

This mashes up nicely and this is another one of my Myrtles favourite meals. She's a fussy cat so it must be good, she never eats a whole tray in one go and you do get quite a lot of it and you are meant to feed an adult cat up to 4 of these a day though I don't I give her a variety of foods.

As I say Myrtle seems to enjoy this and at 29p a tray so does me and my purse lol

This is only available from Tesco.
