These are an absolute godsend!
We love giving the odd treat to our beloved cat and she deserves it, lying around all day doing nothing but looking cute.
We brought these in Pets at Home at the time and during the Christmas holidays. They do such great deals, but we've found that bulk buys deal seem to be better on EBAY.
WEBBOX festive range Turkey and Sausage went down a treat and it was hard to wean her back onto the chicken and liver she enjoys so much.
We love breaking up the routine of treats with the flavours from WEBBOX.
£0.99 for 6 sticks seems to be the standard price/ qty and you can still get hold of this great flavour if you hunt around online. But be warned... once your cat tries this there's no going back!
Anyone who knows me (ore reads my reviews often enough!) will tell you that I am totally in love with my cat Myrtle Rose. She makes me smile and is all mine and I'm a proud and very contented cat mummy!
I love buying her treats and toys every week (I may know what the recession is but she really doesn't!) and I think now she has tried all the different Webbox Meaty Sticks that are available to buy and if not, well its cos I haven't seen them!
These I bought for a pound in a discount store in town for just £1.00 for 6 of them which is what I usually pay for these.I bought them to wrap up and stick in her Christmas stocking as I thought not only would she probably love these but they looked nice and festive too and I do like my pets to celebrate the good times too!
The packaging is plastic and is mainly red in colour and each strip although comes in one oblong shaped pack has perforated sections containing one of the treats so you can take one of the 'sticks' out at a time or store them as singles and on the front of that pack we are clearly told what they are and who they are by and that of course there are 6 sticks in a pack and then there is a picture of a cat shown donning a Christmas hat and we are shown a little picture of the sticks themselves. On the back of the pack other information listed includes being told a bit about the sticks and the ingredients and composition of them, we are told that all the sticks together weigh 30g in total (for 6 of them that is of course) and contact details for the manufacturer are stated. I like the packaging these have to them as I like being able to have them as singles, handy if we going to my Mums to visit for a few hours so I don't have to take a big pack with me along with everything else I always have to take!
First off I feel that I must point out that they are 'Limited Edition'. I had seen these on sale last year and I have seen them still on sale recently in Pets & Home however if you struggle to get these I do suggest Googling for them as they can usually be found somewhere of another online!
The sticks are a deep red in colour, thin and dry to the touch. They are about 5 inches long and thin and with indentations running up each stick so that if you want to break it up into more manageable pieces for your cat you can however I like to leave mine whole for my little lady.
They seem chewy and moist and easy for her to make short work of. They have a little bit of a meaty aroma to them but nothing much really and I like the way that they are dainty enough for my girl to chomp on.
These don't seem to make her thirsty though of course water should be left out in case your feline friend does want a bit of a guzzle afterwards of course!
I really like these as an odd treat though my girl would live on them happily if she could however I do limit her intake of treats and these don't promise to be healthy.....they are just a tasty treat after-all!
Very worth the money and I Love Webbox products as much as my girl does and trust that they are high quality!
