I came across these Whiskas Pouches quite a while ago now. My cat eats their dry food and I was looking for some wet food for her. I don't like the idea of a big tin of wet cat food that you only use a bit of and then have to keep in the fridge because I don't like it near my human food so when I saw these pouches I thought they were great. They are individual portions in a foil, sealed packet. They have indentations on the side so they are easy to open, you can just do them with your hands and there is no need to spoon out the food so they do not create a mess. I buy the Whiskas pouches in traditional gravy. There are meaty chunks covered in quite a thick, ... Read the complete review

I got my cat around a year ago when he was around 6 months old. I was told by his previous owner that he only ate ASDA tiger cat food, but decided to try whiskas pouches when they were on special offer. My cat has quite a sensitive belly, many brands of food have given him the runs but he has tolerated these really well. Shadow loves all of the oh so fishy in jelly. I've found the oh so meaty in gravy to be less popular as well as messy to get out of the pouches. I'm less impressed with the market produce. I think my cat would prefer it if they left the green peas and carrots out of the mix. Cats are carnivores and I'm sure that the inclusion of these ... Read the complete review

I now have two cats, and after much taste testing of various types of cat food, they have eventually settled on their favourite… And my little girls don’t like tinned food (too tinny, obviously), and being fussy little madams they just sniff at the Kitekats and own brand pouches (although they don’t mind Waitrose’s). Their favourite breakfast/dinner is Whiskas pouches, hence posting here. Basically, what you get is a single-meal-sized pouch weighing in at 100g, filled with little bite-sized bits of meat, and jelly or gravy to keep it moist. My ladies tend to lap up all the jelly/gravy first but unlike some other brands I’ve ... Read the complete review

If you have cats you'll know just how fussy they can be where food is concerned. Our two cats rule our house and we are stupid enough to let them. Anything for a quiet life! Anyway, when we first got the little darlings, we tried lots of different foods and I was determined that they would have cheaper brands, to keep costs down. Unfortunately the cats decided otherwise and as I put the cheaper food down for them, they would turn and give me a disgusted look, try to scrape imaginary cat-litter over the food (do you HONESTLY expect me to eat this s**t?) and walk away. The food would then be thrown in the bin and we would be left with cats still begging to be ... Read the complete review

My mum is going to give you all the technical information on Whiskas pouches, but as she is not prepared (even for you lovely Dooyoo people) to taste test this product, so has asked me to give you my first hand account. I'm not a fussy cat, but being part Burmese, I do have a fine palate and texture means everything to me. which is why I leave birds and mice to my less well-heeled friends....I really can't abide bones. Mum always buys me pouches as they are so convenient, and no smelly tins in the fridge. Also my food is always served at room temperature (as advised on the label) to avoid any tummy upsets. So here we are, just been ... Read the complete review
