After having had some lovely experiences with this brand I was pleased when my husband bought me this shower gel. I usually like really fruity flavours and thought that I wouldn't get on with this as much as it's far more subtle but actually it is lovely although it does have it's flaws.
This is a shower gel which is soap free and is made from plant extracts. The idea of this shower gel is to be gentle on your skin and whilst cleaning it it will help to restore it to it's natural PH balance. It is also meant to be a relaxing experience and I actually agree with that and do find it relaxing when I use this!
The scents on this shower gel are very subtle of rose and something fruity but not very obvious which is an unusual one for me as I usually like the really big zesty fragrances but actually I find that this combination makes it just like it is intended- relaxing. It is a lovely, calming smell, however you can't relax for long as if you want this to lather up you need to work at it!
When I use shower gels I like them to lather so it is easy to spread it around and wash myself properly. I find just rubbing this between my hands isn't enough to create lather and instead add it to my loofer and give it a good rub with some water too to get it lathering. It does take a couple of minutes and it is a little frustrating but I suppose that is the gentle nature of this product.
It is lovely and gentle on my skin and I do feel nice and clean afterwards. It doesn't make my skin feel at all dry or anything and it certainly makes me feel clean. The scent doesn't hang around for long and I'm fine with that.
I think this is a lovely shower gel. It cost me £10 for 200ml which is more money then I tend to pay but there is something very nice and calming about this. The lack of lather is it's only downfall really but I think it is lovely.
