Caudalie Lip Conditioner
I bought this product a while ago and I have just used it up so I thought now would be a good time to review it - prepare for a very positive review as I love all of the Caudalie products I have tried!
- About the product
This lip balm is 4g or 0.14 oz which I think is just the average but the packaging for this lip balm is a big bigger than my other lip balms but it still remains really light weigh so it is great for travelling with. The packaging is nice, sleek and simple. The lip balm itself contains anti-oxidants, some natural ingredients and it claims to be moisturising and suitable sensitive skin.
- Using the product and results
The first thing I noticed about this lip balm (apart from the slightly chunky packaging) is that the balm is clear and it is unscented. Usually when products are stated to be suitable for sensitive skin they still have a scent but this doesn't. It is a clear balm and it has no scent at all, apart from a tiny hint of plastic from the packaging around the balm but on the lips this is not really noticeable. I have been using this constantly since I bought it and I just love it! The balm applies really smoothly (but the Nuxe Reve De Miel balm does apply smoother) and it is really quite thick on the lips which I like as my lips can become incredibly dry - especially at this time of the year. Once applied to the lips this balm is clear and gives a glossy finish with no scent/taste. The balm applies and feels really thick on the lips (thicker than all of the other lip balms I have tried) but I do really like this and it makes my lips feel very smooth and hydrated. I usually just use this product in the evenings or before bed as it can leave a slight white reside on the lips after the balm has been on the lips for an hours or so. This balm is just fantastic and because this product is unscented and it contains some natural ingredients it does not irritate my lips at all! This lip balm is the most nourishing/conditioning balm I have ever tried! This balm is better than my Rose & co natural lip balms, it is better (but not as smooth) as my Nuxe Reve De Miel stick lip balm and it is so much better than all of the cheap balms I have used in the past!
- Price and availability
I bought this lip balm online and I haven't seen this product in any store as of yet. This product can be bought from feelunique.co.uk, salonskincare.co.uk, lookfantastic.co.uk, amazon.co.uk and boots.com. Prices of this product range from £3.65 to £5.50 which is a little bit expensive for a lip balm but it is well worth the money and I will definitely re-purchase this product as I have use it up completely now!
