Their products are either really terrible or genuinely wonderful, and all I can say concerning this kind of moisturizer is truly terrible.
I gave this moisturizer only 3 days because I could not manage any more and often found myself running to the toilet to rinse it off. I have already been blessed with really healthy flawless skin and my pursuit will be to find a product that prolongs healthy skin. The product burns each and every time myself set it on, and I mean every time. It stays on the skin rather than in a dewy sort of way but remains sticky without absorbing into skin and continues to stay lightly steamy as if being in humid weather for hours. The worst this about this product is I don't even rub on it near my eyes but this always ends up burning my eyes as well. Myself personally hate all their moisturizer and eye creams and can't pinpoint eyes burn and what exactly they place in them. I now just stick to their own oils and serums (that I find truly work and are agreeable).
The mislabeling is truly wonderful for oily skin or combo if you can look past of it. It does not clog my pores or make me appear greasy, although Myself find that it's more moisturizing than most moisturizers for oily skin.
All in all ,it shouldn't be recommended by me to you.If you want some useful and efficient moisturizer fluid, try some with light herbal scent.
I got a sample of the fluid and as it lasted for 5 days(application each morning and evening). I bought it to see how the longterm preformance will be.
Phew, allow me to tell you this: 42 Swiss Francs is actually significant for a 40 ml tube (1.3 fl oz) if you're a student like me.
Anyway, back to the words: This fluid has a strong herbal scent and I like Caudalies "cosm-ethos":
So if you do not enjoy herbs, this may smell a bit funky to you. The wetness this provides is also good but this has absolutely nothing to do with mattifying. Honestly, I don't know, why the call this "matte moisturizing fluid" as it doesn't mattify at all though it's an excellent moisturizer for oily/combination skin. Additionally, I noticed a slight burning sense shorty after I employ this, but no redness and I do not apply this around my eyes, as my skin is even more sensitive there. It takes a little while until the fluid sinks to skin and even afterwards I will feel a residue/coating on my face. The funny thing is that despite these two difficulties it does preform amazing in the oil-controling-area and makes the skin very well plump and evens out it /business. In addition, my BB cream's application goes on really smooth and I must confess, that my skin looks amazing now, although I've been using this for merely a week. But this are all short term-results, so I'll write following a while again it preformed on my skin. Perhaps after I finish the tube? However, i need to give it only 4 stars for now, as I do not think this fluid deserved 5 stars for two reasons: for such a hefty price I except a fluid that sinks deep into the skin without needing to wait really long and still having a residue left and I anticipate NO burning senses. I wont comment the "matte" thing, all I have to say is the fact that this has nothing to do with it and they should consider switching the name as one can be mislead truly fast by it.
I absolutely LOVE this mattifying fluid. Before purchasing this at Sephora I really looked on Ebay for it and managed to find this product for half the cost. I figured, if it works and I like it I'll undoubtedly invest in it again.
I must say your skin needs to get used to it. It felt very moisturizing and my skin had a propensity to get oily once I used your skin first. BUT after about a week of using this my combination skin that is greasy got beverages this stuff up and fixed!
It's really mattifying, however it isn't going to dry out your skin. I consider this stuff works best for folks with combo skin like mine. If makes the skin makes the foundation/powder application like a dream and feel so smooth and buxom.
I use this underneath my Tarte BB cream (the primer one, not the tinted moisturizer) and it is an entirely perfect mix for me for the Summer - it is not greesy, and the Tarte BB creme provides the SPF of 30 (this mattifying fluid does have no SPF in it, so bear that in mind).
I also blend some of it with my FLOWER BB creme to thin out the thick texture of the BB lotion as well as mix it with my Neutrogena "Break-Out Free" sun-screen if I'd like to put on a foundation.
This is a good investment since you also do not need a lot of product, so it is economical.
I got this in some samples from Sephora. The packaging was a little tube with a twist off cap. The tube lets out a little at a time, so there's no problem with anything or all of it spilling out. The samples are extremely portable, being so modest but containing a lot.
The specific product looks like a lotion that is watered down. The label says it is a fluid, but it has a slight little bit of cream inside it. It's not liquid that is completey.
I found that the more you put on, the more shine it consumes. It leaves your skin soft, but a little greasy. It definitley is a great quality in a moisturizer. It reduces radiance and redness, so that your skin is very even toned.Your face is marginally more matte and skin brightening, once left on it longer.
The odor might be not nice for some. It is a vitaminy odor with a touch of mint and medication. However, for those who don't care about the scent at all or enjoy that natural Whole Foods odor, this is for you.
I took a couple "lipsticks" away for the greasyness and smell (though I appreciate it). Besides those two, it really is a great moisturizer. Overall it reduces discoloration, redness, roughness, and glow. The packaging is very good.
Great product to deal with excess oil on your skin. It can be applied evenly and absorbs instantly, so make up can be used immediately. I find it especially good to use after I have exfoliated my face and neck. It is a good product but I like to wear SPF everyday so I wish it included SPF so I would not have to use another product, especially for the price of it. It has a faint fruity smell that lingers on your skin for awhile.
I like using this product on days I go to the gym as I know it means I wont sweat as much as I would without the cream on. It has not caused any break outs. I have been using it for 3 months now after being given a sample. There are complimentary products in the Caudalie range, they have the same grape extracts and are good for anti ageing. It is a good size bottle for carrying around, using on holiday and taking to the gym with you. My favourite thing about this product is the texture of my skin after I have applied the fluid. It becomes so soft and I can't help but touch my forehead and cheeks, as it feels like new skin. I can definitely feel the difference in my skin on days that I do not use the product. I am in my 20s but I think it would work well on teenage skin too that has excess oil.
