Advantages: easy to use, good quality
Disadvantages: none
Clone DVD is a simple but efficient DVD writing tool which is mainly for copying DVD disks. It is made by elaborate bytes (elby). There are 3 simple choices when starting the program. 1 copy DVD titles this allows you to back up part of a DVD. 2 clone DVD this allows you to back up a full copy of a DVD including menus etc but the DVD that you copy must be 4.7 gb or less for this to work 3 write existing data here you can write any existing movie files etc basically the same as the above options but you can also put 2 or 3 movies on 1 DVD if their total size is less than 4.7 gb. One thing is that due to new copyright laws in the country of origin there is an extra feature on this that will not let you copy copyrighted DVD movies though. Basically it is a simple and straight forward program that is simple to use. As you build up you compilation you can write the DVD menus and copy them as they are on the disk that you are copying. it also has every item that is on the disk i.e. subtitles ac3 sound dual stereo etc so should you want to you can omit the features on the DVD that you do not want such as German subtitles for example. It takes only 3 simple stages from starting the program for it to be writing your DVD disk. The whole process is extremely simple to use and relatively fast as well when you consider the size of a DVD disk to a Cdr. There?s not too much you can write about this program as it so simple and straight forward to use. It is totally user friendly and takes a lot of the hard work out of DVD writing that I can only suggest that you download it and try for yourself to see just what you think of it for yourself. Only take minimum of input to use this program and as you can download a free trial version from www.elby.ch you can give it a try for yourself to see just exactly what you think of it.
