Nero 8 is a set of CD\DVD utiltiies that help you "Create, Rip, Burn, Copy, Share, Backup, Play". The only problem is, can't do all of them. At £25 it isn't overly pricey but with free software available that does what it does why would you pay for this? I use this software for making dvd videos which is really easy to use, there are several ways of doing it. I find Nero Vision best as it is really user friendly and simple to use which is ideal. The price of this is also very good and even better when you get the oem version which can be bought if you buy computer hardware. It would be nice if there was a way to hardcode subtitles in to the films as it can be a pain doing it on the five other bits of software i have. Nero 8 is a nice department of tools ready at your hands to do a lot of things with media such as... Well mostly burning to be honest, I think this is one of the best bruning kits avaliable it does things professionally including making your own home quality DVDs with freidns and family. I've probably tried Nero Burning ROM and Nero Vision only but, say you did a nice cam video of say a special event with your family or something and you wanted to put it on a DVD.
