	Bryston BCD-1 ... CD player is the first one to come out of Bryston s range. The company is better known for its built-like-a-tank amplifiers, but the BCD-1 proves that it can make an exibition of itself, given careful system-matching. I listened tothis machine when it waspartnered with the BP26 preamp and the SST4 power amp from the same stable. Play it kate bush s "aerial" for example and the brightness tends to make an exibition of itself, so connect it with an interconnect that has a slightly softer tyreble than most and this machine will breathe a new lease of life into your music collection. 	Bush LSD33SIL Desktop Micro System ... bought this as something to mount on the wall in the kitchen to listen to whilst cooking- i.e. something cheap that looked good. I have to agree with the other review on here- it was pretty cheap looking but as it WAS cheap to buy i didn t mind as much. It was very plasticy and felt very cheap. Once it was on the wall, it looked fine and you couldn t really tell how cheap it looked from far away. It did the job- played CDs, allowed me to listen to the radio aswell. The only thing that i would say about this is that when you turn it up a bit, the music becomes distorted and the quality is lost. 	Bush LSD33SIL Desktop Micro System ... bought this cd player because it was cheap, it was wall mountable and I thought that it looked good. When I got it, I was a bit disappointed. In the flesh, it seemed quite cheap, ie too plasticy, and it was quite difficult to mount on the wall. However, once I did get it on the wall, I was pleased. From a distance, it does look good, like it did in the catalogue picture when I bought it, and it plays cds just fine, which of course is the reason I bought it. The sound is fine, and there is a basic remote control which does the job.
