Cheap but good looking, functional cd player (Bush LSD33SIL Desktop Micro System)

Advantages: Wall mountable, inexpensive, does what it says it does.

Disadvantages: Looks cheap up close, remote and features are basic.

I bought this cd player because it was cheap, it was wall mountable and I thought that it looked good.

When I got it, I was a bit disappointed. In the flesh, it seemed quite cheap, ie too plasticy, and it was quite difficult to mount on the wall.

However, once I did get it on the wall, I was pleased. From a distance, it does look good, like it did in the catalogue picture when I bought it, and it plays cds just fine, which of course is the reason I bought it.

The sound is fine, and there is a basic remote control which does the job.

I think that the speakers are also cheap to the feel, but again, once on the wall, and at a distance, they are fine, and as I said, the sound they produce is fine.

As an aside, you can also put this on a flat surface, you dont have to mount it on the wall.

I think I would recommend this.

Summary: Worth buying, especially if you are going to put it on the wall.
