With its elegant design, Hifidelio sits perfectly alongside your existing hi-fi components. Since Hifidelio is designed as a stereo component with outstanding performance, it is not based on a PC motherboard (with its associated cooling fans) to ensure the equipment itself does not spoil your listening. The built-in LCD display allows easy navigation Hifidelio's ingenious user interface menus without the need of a TV. Don't waste time reading the owner's manual, just concentrate on the music! With the intuitive "turn & select" wheel you navigate through the music tracks and find a favorite album or track quickly and easily. Hifidelio not only stores, files and manages your entire music collection - it lets different family members select and listen to their music throughout the whole house.

Hifidelio recognises an inserted CD immediately and displays information such as album, song track and artist. Information on more than 2, 000, 000 songs, albums and artists are already locally stored within the Hifidelio. If your home network allows Hifidelio to connect to the Internet, its internal music information database is updated - Seite 2 von 4 - online. A music CD is ripped to the internal hard drive by simply clicking the record button. CD's can be ripped at two different speeds - 8 x speed if Hifidelio plays the songs back while ripping is in progress or 16 x speed without playback. You can still enjoy your music from other sources such as tapes or LPs and archive your favourite music tracks onto Hifidelio by simply plugging in the relevant player. Hifidelio will record the tracks from these external connected sources. Playlists can contain songs imported all sources and each user can individually create their own playlists on Hifidelio. At the push on a button you can compile playlists suitable for any mood or situation.

Depending on your selected recording format, the built-in 80Gb drive can store as many as 20, 000 songs. Music tracks can recorded in several formats, including lossless. Used as a standard CD player, Hifidelio not only plays back all tracks, but also displays information such as song titles, album and artist. You can easily create your own audio CD compilations - without a PC - using the built-in Combo CD/DVD recorder - perfect for listening to your favourite songs in the car.
