For any DJ, Music fenatic and raver im sure you will have come across the fine presence of Pioneer at some point in your life time whether be in front of you as the croud bounces, or whether it be watching the PRO's work the magic, along with the industry leader Technics, Pioneer is another name which you can find in pretty much any corner of the Globe with ever-increasing wowing technology. Taking a look at the CDJ-350 range, these units are now a set of firm residents within my collection as they are what I class as the "newer generation of CDJ" with portability. When using a Pioneer deck many may fail to see the differences between the units as the Technology is very similar. In terms of the newer releases 350's, 900's & 2000's these are my preferred choice for mobile DJ'ing. My 350's are transported regularly in the stylish silver aluminium flight case which tidily seats the 2 CDJs and the DJM 350 mixer, with all the wires packed neatly in to the case this is the perfect mobile setup for DJ's who simply cant perform without Pioneer, being fairly lightweight and not too bulky its the perfect solution for getting your gear around safely without compromising on space which would be more of an issue when transporting the likes of the CDJ 2000s. I feel that I like to cover the main aspects of my products that I review without writing to much un-needed detail so I hope this gives you all an honest review on my thoughts on the decks. Size - Perfect (as described above they are the solution for DJ'ing on the go) Price - Much cheaper than the top-end 2000 unit at around £500 a unit or around £450 when purchased second hand you could see your self with a pair, mixer and flight-case for just shy of £1350 a worthwile investment if your on a budget. Overall performance is nothing other than that expected of Pioneer! CD's insert, eject and tracks cue within seconds, you can also use the unit to switch between a USB memory stick or portable USB drive aswell as mixing with your disks. It is easy to beat match tracks with the digital display which shows digital BPM on both units, also features the Sync button which makes life 1000% easier for the amateur users!! The sound quality received from these decks can be described as nothing other than perfect, providing you use high quality phono leads between your units, mixer and amplifier you should expect to hear crisp and clear tracks with good clarity and bass. Other fancy features included are the Hot-Loops with even more flexibility than before, prepare to Wow your audience.. If you are considering purchasing Pioneer in the near future then you will already be prepared to spend a fine few penny's but also ready to join a new musical journey. For budget, features and ease of use the CDJ-350 is within one of my top recommended units. Hope this review is of some use, thanks for reading and please leave some feedback. Thanks :)
Nice little speaker set, definitely worth getting once you compare the price you pay to the quality of the sound! LOVE that it has a USB slot, so many CD players don't have these and it makes it so much more useful! I've looked around for other ones and compared some prices but this is definitely worth it! Tbh, i would have been happy to spend even the highest price I found as it's just so good! The only downside for me was the fact it diddn't come in blue (just to match my desk) but ha! Thats really knit picking...! Some may say it's alot of money but really, it's not, it's the type of thing that you invest in and I'm sure I'm going to have many many more years of use out of this! I've already told my friends about this and some have already put it on their xmas lists!! Grab yours while you can is what i say!! 5*****
I have to say Pioneer is probably the best radio make around, I use Pioneer in my car and what a fantastic stereo system. Good level of controls etc and easy to use, the manual is straight forward with no confusing jibber jabber. although they are an expensive make they are worth every penny of their price tag. Pioneer is definitely without a doubt a brand I would always recommend. Pioneer has been around for a long time and they are renowned for their manufacturing in stereos from hifi's to care stereos my opinion is the Pioneer's have it all. Definitely one for buying. It is a make this is reliable and although the price tag may be expensive, it is all worth it. Pioneer is one of the best and definitely gets a recommendation from me and anyone else I know that uses it. Overall good value for money!
It may seem expensive for those that havent seen or played with a CDJ350 in the flesh, but I assure you even compared to the closest Denon player, the Pioneer is still the winner by miles. The MP3/USB compatability with record box, industry standard phono/rca outputs, to may I suggest an equally as brilliant Pioneer DJM350 mixer, would be the perfect small set up! Best still occasionally Pioneer offer this as a bundle with a pair of HDJ500 pro headphones in a Pioneer flightcase for less than £1500. I would say this is a steal as for the top of the range pioneer CDJ2000 nexus you are looking at over £1500.00 for a single player. IF, and only IF this player fits into your budget, buy it and you'll never look back, well you might... but only to recommend it to a friend or a fellow professional, which is exactly why I'm writing this review!
