“ As with many Sony products, the build quality is very high. Sound quality is noticably crisp and the price is very reasonable. Packed with features, not all of which seem totally necessary. „
CDP exciting player with good sound quality and we know sony is a big company, even without a remote control (which means it will eliminate the efficiency) CDP engine can be quite in the count though looks old but looks simple and elegant like vitur hear her attractive, sony another advantage is the price that is affordable and best quality that beats its competitors
If you are looking for a review of this product then you are probably buying it second hand and to be honest after owning this CD player separate for over 8 years I can quickly tell you that if it is in good condition and has its remote control then you wont go far wrong at the bargain price these trade for second hand.
Being a bit old fashioned in size (its slightly taller than more modern units) is the only reason you will know this unit was not made yesterday. The sound quality easily rivals todays players in the budget end and the build quality of this machine is typical of Sony. It definitely has a build to last attitude with this model.
The bass and treble are not as detailed as maybe a £300+ machine but the sound quality that comes from a good quality source still surprises me today, just like it did the first time i turned it on.
The remote is good and includes a line out volume control and other standard features. This player also has CD text which on some CD's shows the title and track names as they play.
The unit has lasted well and with good quality buttons on the unit it does not have any faults after 8 years use.
This CD player sounds extremely good for a budget machine. It has audiophile quantities combined with lots of features and good build quality. It has CD text, display off (for improved sound quality), line out volume control (handy if your amp does not have a remote control) and a good remote control. The sound quality is surprisingly very good for the price. The bass won’t match Sony’s more expensive CD player or even a basic offering from the likes of NAD but I think its very good for the price when comparing it the older more expensive CD players. The sound is smooth and seductive although in can sound slightly harsh when playing poor quality pop songs. It copes with folk, dance and indie best. Even pop songs still sound good when comparing it to a budget Pioneer. It never sounds bright and it also never sounds dull. The build quality is on par with a £300+ CD player and all the controls feel like a typical Sony – very classy. Conclusion – This is a very good CD player for the money and I would defiantly buy another Sony machine in the future.
