	Freecom Portable II BP CDRW 16/10/40x ... the great things: It's very reliable. It hasn't given me any problems. It's blue plastic cover has even withstood a cup of coffee (accidental crash test, I'm afraid...). It has a headphone jack and volume control in the front. You get the Adaptec Easy CD Creator software free in the box, and it is easy to use, flexible, and very very good. It even has a nifty CD artwork design program which is better than most of the others I've seen. My only gripe on that one is that the preview is very low-definition. 	Iomega Predator ... Why I bought an Iomega Predator I've tryed several external CD-RW drives before I came against this one. I needed an external drive for two main reasons. Firstly, because I have a laptop and secondly, because I wanted to use it in different countries without having to open up my computer. I initially went into a local computer shop and they advised me not to buy an external drive, but on a cheaper option. They showed me a Freecom box that changes internal drives into external drives with the use of some chip board and an USB cable or LPT cable (the USB cable option being more expensive as data is transfered faster with an USB cable). 	Liteon LTR 24102B ... anyone with a near encyclopaedic knowledge of late 1980s dance/pop music, the allusion to Black Box (featuring Nicki Harris I believe...) in the title would be child's play. I was sceptical about buying a LiteOn CD Burner, especially one which claims to be 24 speed writing speed, as I have always gone for names I could trust (e.g. Hewlett Packard, Yamaha). However a glance through Geizhals.at showed that this 24 speed burner could be mine for ATS 1688 (that's £76.72) and with my HP Burner having been bought just prior to the era of Burn-proof burners (these eliminate the scourge of many a users' life - Buffer Underrun), and that being the cheapest price in...
