I had been wanting to buy a CD writer for a long time. When i finally went to the the local electronics shop and asked what CD writer they had, they told me they were at the end of one of their Order cycles, and so they were out of practically all brands of CD writer. i had recently bought a new Handy Cam and wanted to convert the tapes onto CD's, so i asked them, what exactly they had, and they told me, the only thing they had were the Creative CR-RW Blaster 8432. Not only is the rewriter pretty slow in my opinion, but it is very unreliable. To this date I have wasted 65 CDs, and before you tut for thinking I should have stopped, everytime I was told a different method to try by Creative. The drive comes with Adaptec DirectCD software, and together these two products leave you with a vast collection of useless CDs. I have tried all sorts of different things to put on CDs, audio, data and video. Only three CDs have I ever managed to burn correctly. When I tried ... Read the complete review
