	Asus DRW 1814BL ... burner is cheap, cheerful and is capable of performing the job you set it (which is to burn and scribe disks). Various discs can be used with this burner, ranging from CDR/W, DVDR +/-, DVDRW etc but the main focus is on the lightscribe technology. The lightscribe technology built into the device allows the user to insert a blank disc into the burner and burn an image directly onto the disc, providing the media is compatible. I believe this technology is quite cool but rather limited in many respects as you can only print in black and white and the image looks very dull and plain compared to a CD Label. 	Liteon SOHW 832S ... i have a very mixed opinion on this product. This drive came pre installed on my desktop and was very faithful to me! It always worked and got the job done very well when i needed it! It burnt DVD s with ease and CD s even quicker! However i had one fateful day when i had to recover my PC and completely reset it! I re-installed all the drivers for all of my hardware and everything worked except... 	Pioneer DVR K17 ... this product the other day and have been very impressed with it so far. every copied disk works perfect with no crashing or faults. simple to install, just removing one screw from the laptop, sliding the old drive out, removing the screw catch and screwing that onto the back of the new drive. then just slide that in and put the screw in the bottom of your laptop and its ready to go. writing speeds for cds are superb, and the same with dvds. Cheap dual layer Aone dvds have been working perfect every time which is pleasing. this drive will fit into most, if not all laptops with ease. another quality product from pioneer, they never fail to produce top quality items. ...
