Not only are you getting a great CDR/CDRW writer, you are getting a fast writing speed with a nice price. Originally the Plextor PlexWriter 8/4/32 sold for over $300 and now it is listed for $185 and can be found brand new for $139. That is a great price for this CDRW writer. The PlexWriter 8/4/32 can write a 650 megabyte CDR in about 10 minutes. Most CDRW writers provide 2MB for buffering, this unit has 4MB for better performance. I just bought the Plexwriter 32/8/4 off Jungle.com, and it's unbeatavble. It is extremely reliable and fast. I never get cd errors anymore. It has a big buffer (4MB) allowing you to use the computer while burning most of the time. As for audio cds, you can't get a better drive for ripping audio from cd's. It works better then my 44x cdrom. I recommend this drive to everyone looking to purchase a good cd burner, cos I haven't produced a coaster yet with it. Great for the money to. ...
