I recommend you get one of these drives, well yes and no, yes because they are just so efficient and no only because this drive has been superseded by the MP9200 (take a look at the Ricoh site for more details) Take my advice if you need to replace your DVD rom or CDRW drive then get one of these little beauties, you'll not regret it (I haven?t) ...more

After deciding i needed a DVD rom drive for my pc i decided that the Ricoh MP9120 was for me. My ageing CDRW (2 speed) was on its last legs and i needed a DVD rom drive, so i took the plunge and got a DVD/CDRW combo drive. My old CDRW drive was a Ricoh one and i had never had any problems with it so i choose one of their drives for my pc.
