 ... nice expensive bottle of champagne. The bottle itself in my own experience has never been difficult to open. Once you have removed the foil and the silver metal twist you can ease the cork out quite easily. It doesn't shoot up to the ceiling but remains in your hand. No holes in your ceiling with this one! Instantly you can hear the bubbles fizzing but they don't flow over the top unless you have shaken the bottle a bit first, which I wouldn't recommend unless you're Jenson Button! I have had this bottle of champagne a few times before. It is currently on offer at £14.49 in Tescos and it usually retails at £29.99 so this really is a bargain. There are 750ml in the bottle and it is 12.5% strength. The bottle is a very dark green like a lot of champagne bottles are, in fact the colour 'bottle green' would be very apt here. It has a gold foil section at the top of the bottle and over the cork, and a gold foil label on the front. With New Year and the holidays having passed I do love it when I am handed a bottle of champagne as a gift. I am not really one for buying champagne but the odd nice occasion I love to drink it just it can be so expensive. I was handed this bottle for Christmas and was very pleased as I know they are a brand that are sold in Tesco, so nothing too cheap that it would taste horrible. PACKAGING The bottle is pretty standard looking like all champagnes it is in a dark green glass bottle with a gold label with the brand name on it and closed at the top with gold foil and a cork.
