As you have probably gathered, I am a lover of sparkly wines and champagnes. What I like best about them is the bubbles; it makes them easier to drink. I have tried various Cavas, Proseccos and Champagnes and to be honest I like each variation. Prosecco is very similar to Champagne but it can't be called Champagne because it is not made in the Champagne region of France. Subsequently, the price tag of Prosecco makes it a much more attractive purchase because it is a lot cheaper. Prosecco can be drunk alone but it also makes a really fine drink to enjoy with a good meal.

I bought 6 small 20cl bottles online for £14.00. They usually retail at around £3.00 each. You can buy the large 70cl bottle for £11.00.
The Prosecco is a light yellow colour, full of fizz with a delicious fruity flavour to it. It is produced in the vineyards of Marca Trevigiana and produced to a high standard. The drink is delicately sweet with a slight hint of lemon to it. The extra dryness balances out the flavour. The sweetness of the prosecco is a result of residiual sugar being left over from the the fermentation process. I much prefer my bubblies to be as dry as possible. This is a goods delicious dry drink that has the right level of fruity flavour. The mini bottles are very endearing and I love seeing them in the fridge. They also help me limit the amount I drink.
Prosecco is usually slightly more flavoursome than Champagne and I find that the delicately fruity flavour compliments a cheese well along with chicken and pasta dishes. I find it goes down so well with food whereas as I do not think this of Champagne. I would definitely recommend this bottle, I like the small dinky bottles as they are perfect for drinking alone, I do not find large bottles keep very well and I enjoy the bubbles the most! Small bottles are great for when drinking alone. Not that I drink alone, but my boyfriend will have a beer while I have a glass of fizz! I get a really nice warm feeling when I drink this, I love the deliciously tasty flavour and how the bubbles feel on my tongue, it is one of the best Prosecco's I have tried.
This pleasant, versatile and modern Prosecco spumante is produced in vineyards of Marca Trevigiana. Prosecco D.O.C. is a brilliant pale yellow colour, has a persistent perlage and a characteristic fruity aroma. It is well-balanced and slightly sweet. Ideal as a young, light aperitif, but also with light dishes such as fish, white meat or fresh cheese.
