If you like fruity fizz then you will love this as it is sweet, fruity and full of flavour. We bought a case of this to take to a self catering apartment for a hen do and it went down a treat. We could not budget for real champagne and a friend of ours had a Cosco card so we bought a crate at wholesale for a good price.

You can buy a bottle on its own from Waitrose for £11.32 but at Costco we bought 6 bottles for £52.00 which is a good price.
The drink is corked with real cork so there is no plastic cork that is really hard to remove to work with. The drink is lightly pink which makes it cute for girly occasions such as a hen do. It has a 12.5% volume and it comes from Spain. The drink is made from Garnacha grapes and it has a lovely floral scent to it. It does taste fruity and I can detect raspberries in the win but overall it is a clean, fresh bubbly wine that has a sweet fruity edge.
I would not choose this wine again as I found it a bit too sickly for my liking but for a celebratory glass it was fine. I picked this bottle because I am really familiar with the brand; they make an excellent Rioja. I find the bottle attractive and expensive looking and as we poured the girls a drink there was a chorus of oohs and ahhs! I had a few glasses of this and I must say that I think it goes really well with nibbles and sweet things but I do not think I would like to eat a meal with this drink as it would detract from the flavour of the food.
For the price we paid I think we got a good deal for the Cava and it is a good 'champagne' alternative. I have not tried the regular Cava by this brand but going on the quality of this, I would certainly consider it. The downside to this for me was in the flavour and that is not necessarily a downside to the drink as it obviously is supposed to taste like that. I just found it too sickly but at first it does taste delicious and I really enjoyed the first glass, it was after the first glass that I found it a tad too much.
I would buy this again as a gift for someone who I know loves Rose wine as it does look quite flash. At around £11 a bottle I think I would buy it again but it is much better value to buy in bulk!
The best red Garnacha grapes from the Faustino vineyards, part of the extraordinary 2004 harvest, were used to profile and vinify the Faustino Group's latest creation, the Cava Brut Rosado. Attractive, luminous, delicate raspberry pink with abundant and peristent fine bubbles that form a lovely crown. Clean, fresh, fragrant aromas of ripe fruit set against a floral background reminiscient of the grapes used. Fresh, well-structured and modern on the palate, uncovering subtle fragrances culminating in tasty, well-balanced flavours. From Spring to Autumn, bringing together the colours of life. It is the ideal companion for special celebrations, to be enjoyed with hor's d'oeuvres, cold cuts, jellies and rice dishes.
