      Tastes lovely!

Around 6 months ago now my husband and I got married. We ended up with a few bottles of champagne as wedding presents – yes we were very lucky! We decided to save this bottle of Moet and Chandon until we had purchased our first house. Well a few weeks ago this day arrived and yep, pop, we opened our poshest looking champagne (and the only one we still had left after getting married).

This champagne was absolutely delicious! I generally love all champagne and can taste the difference between them although being far from a connoisseur. My husband generally doesn’t enjoy champagne very much and prefers Prosecco as it is much lighter.

Both my husband and I enjoyed this champagne very much. I would say it must be one of the nicest champagnes I have ever tasted and my husband also really enjoyed it as it is really light and fruity.

Last week whilst in Tesco’s I saw that this champagne was for sale on special offer. It was £24.99 which I think is pretty reasonable for such a delicious high value quality premium item.

The bottle that we had as a wedding present came in a lovely box. When I saw it for sale in Tesco’s it wasn’t in a box so I guess the box was a novelty thing. Either way this is a great tasting drink and that I hope to enjoy again in the future. I am really glad that my husband and I received this as a gift.

Quality : Brut. Harmonious assemblage of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier chosen from the «Premiers Crus». Colour : pale gold with shades of green. Aroma : essentially floral (lime blossom, hawthorn) with hints of dried fruits and citrus. Palate : the attack is clear-cut and full-bodied, and the raisin finish is wonderfully fresh.
