I brought this mozzarella from Tesco when me and my sister decided to make some pizza for tea, I usually buy whatever mozzarella is the cheapest because I think most of them taste exactly the same as each other but something about the packet of this Castelli brand appealled to me and I brought it even though it was nowhere near the cheapest.

It's delish mozzarella, it smells madly fresh when you open the pack and the brine that it has been packaged in smells fresh too and isn't all cloudy and full of bits like happens with cheaper mozzarella.

The mozzarella slices easy, if you're using it to make pizza it can look a bit better if you tear it up instead of cutting it into perfect slices and that's easy as well.

I've had this mozzarella on pizza and also sliced up with a salad, it's a delish cheese and goes proper nice with just about everything you want to put with it. On pizza it melts perfect and gives it a delish creamy flavour, it also makes the pizza go nice and stringy and I LOVE that about home made pizza!

When you have it cold with salad it's just as nice but make sure you drain every last drop of brine off because with this brand it's proper salty and just makes the mozzarella taste saltier than it should. If you drain it all off you get a creamy cheese that has got a delish milky flavour that tastes like it's a majorly high quality mozzarella.

This 250g ball of mozzarella cost £1.69 and that might sound a bit dear but it keeps good in the fridge for a few days as long as you remember to put it in an air tight container with the brine that's left over. It fit my containers better once it had been sliced so I cut it all up into quite thin slices so it keeps better and is also ready to use in a couple of days when we make pizza again.

      Recommended..... delish mozzarella!!!
